Try this energy drink recipe with chia seeds! Chia seeds are a great source of energy for a workout. They absorb water for better hydration and help with recovery too.
- 2 Tbsp. Chia Seeds
- 1/2 Fresh Lemon
- 2 Cups Water
- 1 Tbsp. Raw Honey
Combine ingredients into a glass or jar. Stir or shake vigorously. Let sit for at least 15 minutes. This allows the chia seeds to absorb the water. Keep in the refrigerator throughout the day or overnight. It's a perfect before a pre workout drink.
Remember This: Chia seeds stick to surfaces. Make sure to rinse dishes immediately for easy clean up.
